VBS_2021_Home_Registering – Saint Luke Lutheran Church

Saint Luke is offering Vacation Bible School (VBS) this summer, albeit due to the current health situation, many unknowns that lay ahead, and planning that happens in advance of VBS, Saint Luke’s VBS will be virtual this summer. The VBS theme this summer is “Discovery on Adventure Island: Quest for God’s Great Light.”

There are two ways that children and their families can participate virtually in VBS this year. First, there will be a VBS website available July 12-25 which families can use to have a VBS experience at home. Second, for those families interested in doing so, there will be a virtual VBS held from 10-11 a.m. via Zoom on July 12-16 for PreK-5th (as of 2020-2021 school year) led by me and dedicated adult volunteer crew leaders.

Each day of VBS for both options mentioned above will include: Opening worship led by Pastor Miller and Pastor Morales, craft projects, story time, mission/service projects, music, and most likely science and recreation. Please note that VBS planning is currently underway and is a work in progress, so some elements of the day may change in the months and days ahead, but the basic theme and stories will stay the same.
