Sunset Sailing Adventure

Come and enjoy the beautiful Chesapeake Bay!

Learn how to sail, take a turn at the helm, or just sit back and relax and watch the sunset as we set sail aboard Song, a 50 foot sailing yacht.

You also have an opportunity to spot wildlife including; ospreys, dolphins, and light houses. Dinner will be provided and there is no cost for this event! No former boating skill is required.

Friends are welcome to come.

We will depart from the upper parking lot at Saint Luke at 3:00 PM and will be returning at approximately 11:00pm

Each person below the age of 18 must have a completed permission form to attend this event.

Pumpkin Carving

SLSHY+ will be carving pumpkins instead of our normal discussions. All materials will be provided. Join us for the fun!

Bring a friend. Just show up and start carving.

We will meet in our normal meeting place at 915 Highland Drive. The house directly behind the Great Hall of the church.

Gods work our hands Sunday

Come and help serve others with a multi-generation service project

This year the congregation will be constructing meal bags for the hungry

This project qualifies for SSL hours

Markoff’s Haunted Forest

Zombies galore – a 30 minute walk through haunted campgrounds in a cold dark forest.

Did you know that in the bible Saint Paul calls us Zombies…the walking dead? Come learn and enjoy in a fun filled frightful night with your fellow SLSHY+ zombies.

Monster Mini Golf

The glow in the dark mini golf Course is populated with animated “Monsters”, they move, talk and at times tell silly jokes. The blacklights bring to life world-class hand-painted, locally inspired artwork All of this creative engagement, coupled with popular music, disco balls, moving concert lighting and on course games and entertainment make us a must-see experience in any town!

Cookie Bake Retreat

The young adult and Saint Luke Senior High Youth will be baking cookies to be used during the fellowship time between each Christmas Eve worship service. This service project includes a retreat where we will be able to watch movies, play games, candle light worship, and have a fun time with each other. The retreat ends with breakfast Saturday morning.

Ground Hog Day retreat

I can hardly wait… will Punxsutawney Phill “the ground hog” see his shadow?
Will we have six more weeks of winter? Come, bring a friend and enjoy the fun!

SLSHY will have a Lock-in party where we will watch the movie Ground Hog Day, we will play games, have fun, sleep very little, worship with candles, and have some faith discussions.
